I just wrote an article for The Noise (a local newspaper) regarding the subject of Ayahuasca. See Spirituality and Psychotropics: Ayahuasca this Way Comes (page 12).

Something that came up in conversation with Jane one day:
“Listening is the absence of doing with the presence of heart.”

I believe that “…you and I are not we but One.”
I believe in the Truth of Oneness.
I believe in the Reality of Manifestation.
I believe that God comes in human form, from time to time, and we call that one Avatar, Christ, Rasool, Prophet.
I believe Meher Baba is the Avatar.
I believe that women and men can become one with Truth, Self, God by coming into harmony with the Avatar, or Perfect Masters, or the Universe… that process is called by some the Spiritual Path…
Some people think in terms of spiritual hierarchy, and The Brotherhood of Light.
This is a new age, and a New Humanity, so terms such as hierarchy (and its baggage) may give way to Love of the Divine, and terms such as brotherhood, give way to Spiritual Companions, regardless of genders, and duality, we can all be children of the One Divine Beloved…
I am a non-dualist having separation anxiety, feeling distant from my Divine Beloved, but receiving communication from Him (Meher Baba), which keeps me alive, and sane, and I keep moving towards him. Like the lover on a train going mile by blessed mile back towards his Beloved. Why would I get off the train to sleep with another woman? I won't…

I believe that my Self and the Divine Beloved are one and the same, but that right now I am veiled from the experience of that Reality. I long to remove this veil at the altar of my Beloved God.

What I have come to believe wholeheartedly is that “God alone is Real” and all else is a symbol pointing to God. I have some experience of this…

I work for interfaith (inter-spiritual) respect and tolerance and dialogue, in the spirit of Beads on One String. Recently I participated in such a local interfaith event.
